Islington Apartment

In need of an entire interior redesign, this former four-bedroom property lacked a coherent layout. Rooms such as the bathroom, kitchen and separate WC were far too small for modern standards, and the entire feel of the apartment was dated and worn-out.

Heckmann Design proposed an entire internal strip-out, leaving only a few structural walls in place, and remodelled the internal layout to include two generously sized bedrooms with build-in wardrobes, a family-sized bathroom, living room and kitchen as well as a new entrance hall. The new layout provides a much-improved flow through the property, and makes it a suitable family home.

The interior design followed the 1950’s style of the property but with bespoke contemporary features.
